Gichiri Ndua joined Kenya Ports Authority in 1984 and is currently their managing director as well as president of the International Association of Ports & Harbours and chairman of CIOA, (the Cruise Indian Ocean Association).
Gichiri has an MA in Economics from the University of Nairobi and is a member of the Institute of Economic Affairs, Kenya Institute of Management and the Institute of Directors of Kenya. He is on the board of directors of Kenya Railways and Kenya Ferry Services as well as being a trustee of Kenya Ports Authority Pension Fund Publications.
Gichiri has written several papers on Ports and Transportation.
