Takims Holidays has been handling cruise ships in Tanzania since 2001, and currently works with luxury as well as expedition cruise ships in the ports of Dar-es-Salaam and Zanzibar. In 2010, we expanded operations to the ports of Mtwara, Mikindani and Kilwa. Through these endeavours, we have built a track record as one of the few Tanzanian companies with the infrastructure to handle the rigorous demands of cruise clientele. Our goal is always to allow guests to see Africa in her most pristine form. Guests can expect knowledgeable guides offering a wealth of information, and vehicles specifically chosen for the task. Shore excursions are operated in air-conditioned coaches, and guests wanting a more private experience have access to saloon vehicles and minivans. On pre and post cruise safaris, clients ride in fully equipped safari-model 4x4 vehicles. From a relaxing beach excursion to an active dhow trip or market visit, our shore excursions will bring Africa to life in the few hours your guests are ashore.
